From Crop
to Cup
Each coffee is different. Climate conditions, cherry selection and processing: each step on the way between coffee crop and cup influences the quality. Producing a fine coffee requires great passion and hard work. And the cooperation within the industry to strengthen these efforts to contribute to designing a good future.
We see the coffee industry as a village, where the small farmers and coffee businesses are neighbours to each other. Neighbours, best possible, should help and support one another to create a strong, lively and colorful community. A community in which we can relate to small coffee farmers, to provide support by means of projects that empower them.
The return: unique coffee of excellent quality. This is coffee production at its best: good for people, in harmony with nature and compliant with the highest quality standards.
Become a
Neighbour
- and make
a
Difference
Today’s globalized world is a village, where each smallholder farmer growing coffee is a neighbour to the local coffee roasters, coffee shop owners and to all the people who love drinking coffee. The philosophy of Our Global Coffee Village is that these neighbours meet, connect and work with each other - to form a bond based on what they have in common: a passion for coffee.
